This PCI-E Slot Tester is designed to quickly diagnose open circuits or short circuits in PCI-E slot plates. It eliminates the need for manual resistance measurements, allowing you to easily locate faults.

Instructions

1. Connect a 12V DC power supply to the PCI-E Slot Tester and insert it into the motherboard’s PCI-E slot.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch — all indicator lights on the tester should turn on.
3. If any lights remain off, inspect the South Bridge pins for open/short circuits or insulation damage.

The PCI-E Slot Tester is particularly useful for repairing motherboards when:

• The POST code displays “FF”
• The system powers on without a display
• VGA cards are unstable or not functioning properly
