Product Description

The XDS110 is a next-generation debug probe (emulator) designed for TI embedded processors. It replaces the XDS100 series and expands support for multiple standards, including IEEE1149.1, IEEE1149.7, and SWD, all within a single compact pod.

All XDS debug probes provide core and system trace capabilities for ARM and DSP processors equipped with Embedded Trace Buffers (ETBs). The XDS110 connects to target boards via a TI 20-pin connector (with adapters available for TI 14-pin and ARM 20-pin) and interfaces with the host PC through a USB 2.0 high-speed connection (480 Mbps).

Additionally, the XDS110 offers:

• An auxiliary 14-pin port with EnergyTrace™ support

• A full-duplex UART port

It supports simulation and debugging via 14-pin / 20-pin interfaces, is compatible with Code Composer Studio (CCS) V7/V8/V9/V10 and higher, and works with IAR for ARM. The device runs on Windows 7, 8, 10, and other supported operating systems.
